my sister woke up at about 6 am to a rat peeking through her vent above her bed. when i tell you all i could think about was the one episode of "community" where a rat escapes a cage and it crawls into a vent. 
          
          like, my sister was genuinely terrified and i was trying to hold in my laughter. el oh el

[@mcclincys] she's totally fine now. we were on the phone for about 20 minutes (since she lives in a different state) and she psyched herself up to run out of her room and to her roommates room. i was there for for emotional support. 
            
            and as of today, she has heard absolutely nothing from her vents, so i consider that a win

hey.....how y'all doin'?
          
          but in a serious note, i'm (kinda) back. i won't be posting that much because i have the worst case of writers block rn. also, i said i would take a break because life was a little too much and it somehow got worse. el oh el. my goal is to post once a month. i'll try and stick with that but i don't know. i might need somebody to bully me into writing. we'll see what happens.
