Hey Samantha, thanks so much for reading, commenting and voting on Shades of Genesis. I'm glad your parents aren't. Unfortunately Genesis' parents are heavily based on this couple I used to know. They had a little girl and talked about how they would raise her so I wondered what it would be like to have parents like that. Mine were pretty overprotective but not in a Christian way. I thought it would be a neat perspective that hopefully doesn't happen too much.
