I've been writing for years, but The First Bad Thing is my first polished piece of fiction.  I'm a huge fan of chicklit.  I spent nine years in Greensboro, North Carolina where I was a member of a Bunco group and while the characters are all composites, they carry many of the traits I loved about the people I knew there.  I hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed writing it and the characters of The Cove as much as I have grown to love them.  Especially Neo who was written pretty much as he was in life.  Neo passed away a few years ago and his character was my tribute to him.
