Please can someone explain how I finished 2 100 chapter books last night but I haven't started the novel I'm studying in my English class. Like my teacher said "You should have read 27 chapters by now" and I were like.. 27?!

I was meant to be doing my French exam and then I randomly picked up my phone and started reading wattpad for half an hour.... There is something wrong with me. And now instead of doing my exam I'm writing this. I'm so smart :) 

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when a story is meant to be based in England but uses American terminolagy? I find it so irritating
