Hi.
Not a new chapter on the Vollen, for those who have it in their libraries, just some minor editing as I get back into things. Hope for a new chapter sometime before…May? Yeah let’s go with May.
Well, I’m back? I am currently broke, with nothing to do but plenty of family to freeload off of.
Better news, I’ve been given the opportunity to do a short writing course in May. Part of the reason why I’m trying to get back into it after so long.
Wish me luck. Feel free to re-read the Vollen again, and we’ll see if I can actually get somewhere with it this time.

Alright. This is three weeks overdue. But guys, I might not be writing anything for a while. We’ve had a family emergency that I wish was one big nightmare. My priorities at the moment, are finishing my driving hours to get my license, and completing this years schoolwork. I will keep writing, but I think it might take me a while to get back into it. Guys, I’ve lost one of my biggest supporters, and I’m still trying hard to find the joke or the lie. Bear with me, I don’t give up on anything, it just takes time.

Quick Random Question!
Has anyone else here seen the 1996 movie The Ghost and The Darkness? It’s Hollywood bad, yes. But based on the true story of the Tsavo lions. (Tsavo meaning slaughter) In which two male lions kill somewhere between 28-135 railway workers and terrified a good thousand or so men in a nine month period (I think).
This movie is not for the faint of heart, certainly not for absolute marshmallows like me. I will not be sleeping for the rest of the night. Best wishes to you all, hope to have brighter news in future.
(Actually, the reason that movie freaked me so much is because I saw so much potential for plot ideas. Even the pre-existing plot line for the Vollen echoed the movie)

Ok. So, I’m not dead in the literal sense...That I know of.
I’m just very very lazy.
That being said it is technically my holiday, yet I’m supposed to be getting work done anyways. However, work, classes and the like have had my attention for over a year straight, and this is the first time since last Easter Holidays that restrictions have been down enough for me to visit family.
In short, I’m ‘lazy’ in the sense that I’m busy doing many important things, and regrettably my writing has been low priority. Family comes first, the my work, my experimental comic, and then writing.
Good news! I have edited and fully rewritten basically 1 chapter of The Vollen. Why I began uploading this story again, I don’t know.
Not sure how many folks read this, but though I’d let ya know I’m not dead, and not leaving you hanging. When it is not an ungodly hour, I’ll write. Hopefully.

Hello! Thanks for the rec, it’s got good bones and great promise. Certainly a lot different to the last book I read (ever get whiplash jumping between eras? I was in the 18th century before your book). That said, you are a type of writer I don’t read very often (kinda scarce) you describe opinions and emotions very fluently, just need to find a balance between the mind and the body. Remember that readers forget things often, casually remind us what colour their hair goes in that particular lighting, tell us what colour case is on her phone. Things like that make it more personal, and out the reader THERE. Hope this helps, and let me know how it goes.
Most of all, have fun and don’t end up like me. I might’ve mentioned earlier that I write too? Yeah, see any of my books here? Aside from Dear Reader (a sleep-deprived just had to write it) I sadly spend too much time worrying about the wording and how to start instead of writing. Try just writing everything first, or write a ‘buffer’ give yourself a few chapters to update while you keep writing. Keeps readers engaged with the story, but less stress for you.

Alright. Let it be known that I hate planes, that whatever issues I have with my sinus and my hearing make it down right painful to even think about boarding one. Keep in mind now that the only way I could get to my family was via one of these flying steel traps. I flew twice with in three days and had to take today off because my equilibrium still isn’t quite right; in a way it feels like getting hit in the head with a fan. In the sense that it felt like a concussion.
Ok I’m done, that’s my rant. I actually don’t know how many of you even read these. Half the time I wonder why I write them, I don’t know. Probably never will, maybe it’s just to get it out there. Feel a little more included without being smothered by physical contact. But hi to anyone who does read, and let it be known that I’m trying. I’m always trying,so then I can take pride in my smallest success stories and I can smile properly.
Good day/night to you all. I’m sick, probably dehydrated and absolutely exhausted... but I’m trying. That’s enough for me.

*me, falling asleep standing is the new achievement of the week*: Couldn’t sleep, ended up writing 5 double sided pages in two hours.

*Me*: I have no idea, I’m too tired to proof read it. I think one of the characters had a panic attack though.

Yes, this happened. The whole kit and kaboodle. I felt like writing instead of sleeping so I wrote for two hours for an older story of mine. I’m still playing with the title but it’s currently called Blood and Water. Or something along those lines. I’m curious as to where it’s gonna go, as it’s got a very developed plot line, just not a lot of time to write it to perfection.
That being said school is very much back for me. We’ve already got massive assignments due and it’s driving me insane.
On the plus side my Grandparents 50th Anniversary is coming up so I’m taking time off for that one to fly over for it.
Now...I feel like I was missing something. Did I miss something? Hope not. If I did you’ll let me know yeah? Always around, I usually check in daily or bi-daily so I reply fairly quickly.
