The Sanguine Woods (TSW) was started by myself—writer, editor, poet, and blogger Sanguine Woods in 2014 as a literary blog. I wanted a place where I could feature fiction, graphic design/art work, photography, poetry, and thoughts on the work of others in those and other creative areas.

TSW quickly took on a life of its own, going off into areas such as the "Fortean" and the macabre; the socially conscious; the darkly photographic; many things "Lovecraftian"; and even the poetics of song lyrics. TSW now covers a miscellany of topics about which I am passionate.

          	Great News!

I’m editing my first anthology of vintage ghost stories, which will be published in December 2019 (Vol. I) and October 2020 (Vol. II) by Wick Press: The Greatest Ghost Stories Ever Told, ed. by Sanguine Woods please follow this effort (link below) and support me!

My other blogs include a fiction blog, https://TheStarvingWritersClub.wordpress.com, and a cool food blog featuring recipes I’ve tried himself and swear by, https://TheColoradoCucina.wordpress.com

I also also dig UFOs, EBTs, high strangeness, ancient aliens, forbidden archaeology, and conspiracy theories, and blog about them at https://TheExtraterrestrialHighway.wordpress.com

I live in the mountains of Colorado with three two cats, five birds, and a crazy collection of horror books and movies, lots of vinyl, and a ghost I think...or two.
