I prefer to read fantasy, pirate fiction, westerns, WWII-era diesel punk, Cold War spy/political thrillers (think Jason Bourne or Jack Ryan), or sci fi.

Literary influences include Lloyd Alexander, Orson Scott Card, Alexandre Dumas, Elmore Leonard, J.R.R. Tolkien, Jules Verne, and probably quite a few others.

I have a beard. I thoroughly enjoy bacon.
