SARAH BURROWS WINCH
I am Osgood's great-great granddaughter. When I was a young girl, my maternal grandfather, John Tracy, and I strolled hand in hand through Sedgwick Farms in Syracuse, New York, the same neighborhood where Osgood and Nellie were raised. My grandfather brought their story alive, through letters and diaries left behind. I was amazed by what had occurred and endured, and intrigued, too, that the past did not seem far away. My grandfather's storytelling gave me a window to see past my own self and time, one of the greatest gifts ever given me.

A graduate of Hobart and William Smith College with a B.A. in English and History, I have a decade of editing, sales and marketing experience at CFO Publishing Corporation in Boston, a subsidiary of The Economist, London, as well the Syracuse Newspapers Group.
