Hi there! I have now published a good chunk of this story, there’s still plenty more to come, but it would mean the world if anyone could check it out and leave feedback on it. So far there’s not many reads on it, so I’m hoping that maybe the reading figures might build up a little more and perhaps it’ll start taking other readers interests! 
          
          My stories used to get thousands of reads, which is mind blowing to me- I mean, even just a hundred means a lot to me, but obviously the more the better, right? Admittedly I do miss seeing the figures in the thousands- or higher end of the hundreds.. it would be insane if I could get those figures again, and be a huge confidence boost for me! My nearest and dearest are always trying to encourage me to publish my stories, which I appreciate their support and encouragement, absolutely, but they don’t see what I see, which is that they’re my nearest and dearest and of course they’re going to do their best to encourage me to do things like that, but I see that posting on a site like this, that has millions of readers and creators on it, I don’t get enough readers to make that big leap of actually publishing. At the moment it would be a let down.. I mean, I did actually publish one of my stories, a few years ago I published with Amazon, and I hate to say, so far I’ve proved a point, my story didn’t sell (it sold like 2/3 copies). I don’t have enough reader interest. 
          
          But I hope that might change! I don’t lose hope, I just don’t make those leaps until I know it’ll pay off!

Happy New Year! Officially 1st January 2026 here in UK (it’s 1:30am).. how am I still awake? I’ve been awake since 6am yesterday, like 20 odd hours! I am tired though, just wanted to pop on here to post this! I hope 2026 treats you well in every way possible! Much love, and thanks, so much for the support over the years! It means a lot! 

New story, Emerald Mills has begun! Many chapters to entertain you, plenty of drama to unfold and lots of emotions to be experienced!

Having issues with starting my new story on here. It’s gone 2am and I’ve attempted twice to publish an introduction using my laptop and failed. I’m not sure if it’s a wattpad issue or on my end.. gotta look into it more. I was hoping that it would at least show up as a draft in my stories area through my phone, but it is non-existent which is frustrating. I wrote a whole description and such, but thankfully I copied it onto a document so that I don’t have to re-type everything again.

          I just wrote a big message on here and it was too big for posting- argh! 
          
          Long story short, I’m still about, still writing, but busy year means writing has slowed down- but it is still happening! I was hoping to post over summer, but it’s not ready yet. 
          
          Got a week off work right now, in the middle of working on my bedroom while not living at home cause I’m pet sitting for parents while they holiday. Room is being painted (nearly done) and new furniture to be built. After that, I can enjoy my time off and hopefully write. 
          
          I can’t post the story yet as I don’t want to run out of chapters to post and then feel pressure to get it finished and it be a mess. 
          
          But I am still here! 
          
          The story follows two siblings, a brother and sister, the brother is a history teacher who is raising his sister due to both parents no longer being around, sister is 17 going on 18.. they attend the same school- obviously sister is a student, brother is teacher.. and without revealing too much, it just follows both of them. 
          
          I’ll reveal more in time! (Let’s hope this isn’t too long to post). Take care! 

Firstly, Merry Christmas (forgot to post before now), hope it was lovely, however you spent it! Secondly, Happy New Year! 2024 was decent, every years has its ups and downs, but it wasn’t all bad- tad expensive, but not always for bad reasons, haha. I hope 2025 (which UK has now entered) treats you all well, whatever that means for you! 

I’ve tried posting chapter 31 of HER tonight, but I’m not sure what’s going on, there seems to be an issue..? Not sure if it’s my side or the site itself. I will try my best to have it posted by the end of this weekend! 

I’ve forgotten to post the next chapter of HER tonight and I don’t have my laptop on.. I’ve been distracted by the sky and trying to see the northern lights (last nights display was amazing!!) but didn’t see anything this time. I will post the next chapter tomorrow, for anyone interested in that story! Feel free to check it out, it’s quite something (it’s an affair!) and about to get dramatic! 

There are now 12 chapters posted! Please, please, just give it a chance.. the story isn’t suitable for under 16s (minimum), it’s contains swearing and sexual content, as well as maybe some mild violence here and there. I have spent years writing this as it wasn’t intended to be a story that I’d post on here. I probably started writing it around the same time I was writing The Private School, which has been a completed project for a few years now. I think it’s my first story told in 99% male point of view. 
          
          If you have read and enjoyed any of my other stories, then you’ll probably enjoy this one too! 
          
          Also, feel free to check out One Night.. I finished posting it on here last year, but unfortunately it hasn’t had many reads (not compared to some of my other work).

Sorry to anyone who has been reading HER, I know I usually update tonight, but I have had a very long day, a lot of it spent folded up in the boot of a car on the motorway, long story (7-seater car, don’t worry, 2 seats are within the boot itself, lol ) for a family day out to see other family. I got home kinda late and I am just not feeling it now, feeling kinda rough.. BUT having said that, I do intend to post the next chapter tomorrow instead, just means you gotta wait a few more hours for it.. it’s just late and I haven’t got my laptop turned on or anything. Apologies.. just when the last chapter ended how it did, huh..? Haha.
