Soooo...waiting for the truck to show up with my furniture and stuff and have a non-moving announcement to share...
          
          I and my book are now, officially, under contract with a publisher. Holy guacamole. I can’t even. I'm excited, a little overwhelmed, and just...kind of in shock, to be honest. 
          
          So yeah. That's a thing in my life now. July 15 is the deadline for my revisions and then me and my editor get down to business.
          
          And as a sidenote...this book takes place 10 years after "The Ghost & Mr. Muir", in the same world (different characters). So, there IS a connection to this off-Wattpad project and my ONC entry!!

I am still alive! Thank you soooooo much to everyone who has been reading, voting, and commenting on "The Ghost & Mr. Muir". And thank you so much to everyone who congratulated me on making it past the first round of the ONC!
          
          I will be back in a few days to thank everyone personally and to catch up on things. Last week I was at the AWP convention...this week I'm moving.  To say that I am busy would be an understatement!

I just spent the last three and a half days at the American Writers Program (AWP) Conference. I went in expecting absolutely nothing besides just feeling it out and seeing what it was about. Through a series of unforeseen events...I am leaving with a publisher chomping at the bit to take my book on. This book is off of Wattpad and I've been very hush-hush about it all around in all of my social media spaces. But "The Ghost & Mr. Muir" is set in that world, 10 years before the events of my full-length novel. So...consider it a wee teaser, if you will.
          
          I can't fucking believe this is happening. 

Chapter 5 of "The Ghost & Mr. Muir" is finally out, and it's a big one! I apologize for the length - it's about a thousand or so more words than my chapters have been so far. But considering the importance of the scene it covers...I figured a longer chapter was the only way to do it true justice.
