Writing is my Passion. It is the force that drives me day by day and infiltrates my dreams at night. Characters to me are not simply figments of my imagination, but beings who I breathe life into. They are my tiny muses, whose silence mean a still story and whose voice jolts the story onward.
To me, writing is both curse and blessing. To love something so much is to find less joy in that which forces you away from it (aka, a paying job).
I've been writing for over fifteen years, but I will openly admit that up until about two years ago, what I had written wasn't any good. Over time I found that my work had too much clutter and not enough order. Finding this balance is like discovering a hidden secret. There is still so much work that needs to be done, but the process is made simpler by knowing what needs to be changed rather than guessing.

I feel the need to post another short story. It's pounding against my skull. And yet here I am, with a set of un-posted short stories. To give in or to not give in? that is the question.View all Conversations

I should have paid attention to the news. I should have listened to my father.
Now, its too late.
