"You don't see what I see."
Don't take the quote too literally.
I said this to my mom today, or the day I'm typing this, and I realized some of the deeper meaning the quote can hold.
My mother sees the side of people that they want you to see.
I see the side of people that they try so hard to hide.
We clash so badly because I see past the bullshit and she won't accept anything but the bullshit.
I don't like bullshit and I don't like lies.
So just tell me the truth, and we'll all be fine.
So I guess that's my new motto and my new favorite quote. Chronologically, it would be flipped, but you get my point.
