Ok I figured out how to relate what Realite Ambigue is compared to Magical Realism and Surrealism for readers.

"Realite Ambiguee" can be thought of as a more grounded version of surrealism, where it's left deliberately unclear as to whether the story was exploring the subconscious or happening the character's reality.

One of the changes between the novel version and the web comic and short film: rather than Hemato-Tomato, over time Ehena-Marie became the MC. I'm still not entirely sure how this happened, but also there was some changes in the color palette from the story board to the final web comic.

Is anyone else having issues with Youtube shoving heavy metal music at them? I'm finding it immensely difficult to properly market my work in the way I intended, because the algorithm keeps shoving things at me completely unrelated.

Is there a way to bring K Pop idols over to Japan, and work with them there? Im finding K Pop more and more depressing to be a part of, and Alt Idols are seeming more appealing.

A lot of my issues isnt idols as such, but fanwars and stuff.

Plus Im more or a song writer than a singer, and there is no intuitive way to pitch to K Pop studios I like. Which is more rare than Visual Kei bands.

Dreamcatcher is the only one I can think of. But Im thinking of FR language markets.

I did some investigating, as I was having some weird issues on pinterest being compared to K-Pop Fanfiction. As it turns out, apparently K-Pop is one of the largest fanfiction communities.

Of course mine isn't, and more of a case of convergent evolution, but apparently my fashion taste overlaps quite a bit with K-Pop, and the Idol group I like also seems to enjoy post apocalyptic scifi settings.

Dreamcatcher specifically.

To be more specific, the reason I'm hesitating to get a K-Pop focused cover art: my art style is frequently compared to the manhwa equivalent to a specific K-Rock band that is trying something new in the k-pop world.

Pinterest, for example, fairly regularly compares Ehena to Yoohyeon or Gahyeon. The only problem with that is, that would put my work is a borderline "not quite fanfiction, not quite not fanfiction" catagory.

SarahWeaver6

I wonder how long Ive been a manhwa artist and just never really realized it?

I know there is a few differences in how I draw that isnt common in manga, although Im not sure drawing manhwa would be quite how Id put it.

Its more a metal pen vs. Wooden pen thing.

But like imagine being that one Japanese travel guide twitter profile, where you could have unfollowed me for like any other possible reason. I'm not for everyone. But that I ...keep up with K-Pop happenings...that's your deal breaker?

Like if he's going to be that way, maybe I don't really want him in my life.

SarahWeaver6

And to be clear, most Japanese travel guide profiles aren't that way.
