          I still had so much story to tell, and so much planned - but I just can’t get back into it. For those who want some closure on how the story ends - Ash debuts as a pop star while continuing to dig into the mystery of the souls, the dreams etc. The story was going to conclude with Ash and the boys finding out that she can break the cycle of reincarnation through a song. They break it together, and are freed. Ash and Felix end up together. Alastaire ends up with Grace (Ash’s friend from Portland, who visits London), and Lyall meets a mystery girl at the end of the story.
          
          I want you to know, that although I’m ending this project prematurely, this isn’t the end of my writing. There is another story, a supernatural YA but very different to Fable, which has been forming in my mind for some time. I need a fresh start, and will be working on that. I’m not sure yet if I’ll be uploading that to Wattpad or if I’ll try the traditional publishing route.
          
          Thank you again for reading and enjoying my work, it has meant the world to me. One last thing I’d like to mention - to everyone reading this who is also a writer - there is a lesson here, one I’ve learned through this experience. Don’t leave your WIPs for too long. I honestly believe that if I had pushed through a few years ago, while the story was fresh and alive in my mind, I could have done it justice. But I left the story for so long, and so much has happened in the interim, that the fire has gone out. Learn from my mistake!

          Dear readers,
          
          I’m writing this message to you all with a heavy heart. I’ve decided to stop writing the Fable series. I started writing Fable almost 10 years ago, and it was always my intention to eventually complete the series. After stopping and starting the story numerous times over the past few years (mostly due to mental health/depression issues), my passion and enthusiasm for the story has gradually waned. I’ve been forcing myself to write out of guilt, knowing that I owe my readers an ending. I’ve come to realise that I will never be able to really do the story justice - because my heart is no longer in it. The past few weeks I’ve reread the first two books, gone over all my (endless) notes and plans for the final book, and tried to start writing again… and the magic is just gone for me. All I can see are the flaws and inconsistencies, and I no longer feel any connection to the story. The characters will always be close to my heart, so I don’t want to half-arse it for sake of finishing, when I’m unable to do the story justice - so I’ve decided it’s better to end things off here. I want to move onto new projects, new stories to tell.
          
          I want to sincerely apologise to everyone who invested time in reading the books and who expected (and deserved) a proper ending and a conclusion to the story - and I’d like to thank you for all your encouragement along the way.

The update of these latest 3 chapters really had me staying up at 2 am to finish reading similar to how I'd do it during my high school era. Girllll i loveee you

Hi lovely readers… I’m baaaaa-aaaack (again)! I know I keep on doing this - going away without notice and leaving everyone hanging without an update on Fable for ages - and I’m so sorry, I really am - I have no excuses. I really want this story to be told, and I’m truly grateful to all my readers who have waited around for the story to be finished - I’m sorry you’ve had to be so patient. Thank you to everyone who is reading - I hope you enjoy everything that is to come!
