Update: I can’t do over 5k in one day so I’m dropping out. And yes the worst best nanny ever will join my never-ending pile of unfinished works. 
          
          But I’m thinking of joining  the shortys and maybe bringing back one of my old deleted work. I won’t say more. But I’m excited about it. Now time for me to breeze through versification and publishing those poems.

Round 1 is over and down with! Time for round two and I'm pushing myself to get it out the way early!

I’m working hard on my entry for ONC. Yep, I’m joining again. It’s turning out really interesting, and I hope you all love a chaotic adult main character in her 30s who can’t hold down a job for her life. *winks.* Once I’m done with 2,000 words, I’ll post it. Bye!

Oh well, I'm out for round 3 of ONC, not going to force myself to complete something that I don't think is finished. This was the most I wrote and I can't say I'll finish Red Herring/ I need to take a break and I'll come back. 
          If I do  - then good thing. If I don't then that's it.  
          I'll see you whenever I remember I have a Wattpad account.

Ummmmm....I don't know what to say. 
          
          I was honestly ready to just have 'Red Herring' join my pile of abandoned stories. 
          
          But after struggling since the first ONC,  I have made it past the first round. Round 2 qualifier here! 
          
          Only with 12k+ words to go. I believe this would be my first non poetry story to get completed ever!

I did it, finally submitted for round two and 8k words finished.  The fact that I made it this far, is a surprise to me.

          I have posted the first two chapters to my onc entry. Only one because this was the only prompt that inspired me.  If you love retellings, no romance and and confused morally gray mc. This is for you.

I have decided to attempt to enter the Novella contest again. I’m not sure if I will actually join because every year I get burned out, but we’ll see. I have an idea; I just need to plan everything before I start writing it. Honestly, the chapters are going to be shorter because I prefer quality over quantity. For the first 2K words, there might be one or two chapters, or even three, because that's how I work. I don't want to spend too much time focusing on one chapter and then not complete the first 2K words, so we'll see how it goes. Am I excited about the story idea? Yes! It's something that has been sitting in my mind for a couple of years. If I actually finish this, I'll be surprised.

Is it worth my nonexistent mental health to try open novella contest for what the 4/5 time? I guess we’ll see. 

Late, but if I do have time. I don’t mind!
