@BreannaDowns one tip I can tell you is whenever you have characters that are talking, you should make it clear to the reader that the character is speaking. For example, if you use (" ") it is hard to see; but if you make a unique one(•><•) it is easier for the reader to see where the character starts talking and when they stop.
