Having filled out several such descriptions in the past, one would think this to be easy. Somehow it never actually gets any easier....
The short version of me is that since the first grade (20 years ago), I have been writing stories. My first story involved a cat and a dog who steal the identities of their owners and end up working as guards in a prison. It's been an uphill march into insanity ever since.
The long version won't fit in 2,000 characters, but a slightly less condensed version will. I have been writing for over 20 years now. In that time I have finished multiple manuscripts and engaged regularly against the monster named Obscurity in attempts to get my work published. It has all been for absolutely nothing. So I now work a job I hate for a company I own that is so small it practically does not exist. If you think that's confusing, you should see my love life.
I have a deep seated love of fantasy brought on by my dad, who read me the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy when I was 6-7 years old. Even before that I was obsessed with dragons and magic and swords and adventures. From an early age I also showed a knack for mechanical things. If it whizzed or twirled, I probably took it apart to see what made it work. Machines are my second great passion, as are all the things that surround them. All of that translates into what I write and if you are brave enough to read what I wrote, then you'll quickly see how those two passions fold into each other very often.
And that's all the time and characters we have folks! Thanks for reading and if you survived this description, you can easily survive reading anything else I've written.
Cheers!
