Random thought, but has anyone thought to do a “Your Choice” book on here? Where you make a decision and carryon to a chapter that continues based off your choices. I have yet to see one here and I think it’d be a great use of the platform which is why I brought it up.

When I was reading a lot on the Choices app, I totally thought about it, a great way to engage the readers & have some fun leaving the fate of the story in their hands. But then I thought about how pulling that off on Wattpad may be a little tougher & need a lot of dedication, time, precision etc. Could be a dope collab idea tho!

@nickinacpattywack nah cuz that’s how I’ve been, lmao! It’s crazy cuz I’m out here with like 4 different accounts just updating here and there, like I swap a persona when I get writer’s block.

The comment section never fails to amaze me, lmao

Idc what nobody says, if you feel like the plot is done, completed, reached it’s limit, and the story has no further reason to be continued, end it. At the end of the day it’s your story, Author, and you write every word so that it’s well craft to suit your own personal satisfaction. Those comments begging for it not to end, they’ll get over it, that’s just them saying it was an amazing piece of work that was worth the read, so much so they’ll probably read it again. I know, I’ve been one to comment that a few times, don’t take us seriously. With that being said, to all those writers who are currently writing their asses off, kudos to you! How the actual did you do it?! LMAO

@SavageBubbles06 And if the book has 100+ chapters I'm over it. Tops 80 for me and that's pushing it. But I guess if the story is good and updated regularly or finished I'll stick with it. 100+ chapters could be two books

@KimberlyWesley this too, that’s the part I failed to mention. If you think the work still has room for more creativity, go for it, nothing is stopping you. I’m merely saying don’t let a comment be the reason you string out the ending of your story, if you feel it’s time to close, then perhaps it is, and if you wish not to see it end just yet, you hold the power to keep it going as far as you wish.

@SavageBubbles06 I agree with what you are saying. But also, as a writer sometimes I don't want the story to end because I love the story and characters so much. That's why I have two bonus chapters in one book (sigh). And another that is a seven-part series. If your readers want more, give them more in creative ways

Do you writers have someone who reads and critics, and/or gives their opinions, on your projects before you publish? I’m cutious
SavageBubbles06
To all the writers that follow me, where does the writing start? Do you just have a random idea that you happen to write in your notes? What sparks it for you?

I was bored and nun was ever good to read on here as far as fanfics. Had to change that, just gotta take the jump!

For me, I think of a random scene playing in my mind, then I write them down in my notes. Or just music, movies and TV shows, etc

Various things. Just a thought popping in my head. A dream. Real situations of myself or friends from the past. I jot down all my ideas and save them. I have some from 30+ years ago
