Ive been thinking about the current structure of Promised Light. I want to finish this book but its currently only a 2nd version. I feel I may need to reorder some chapters to provide better motivation to going from A to B. Currently they feel pushed by forces beyond their control (mainly me), while I need more active motivations for them. This was also an issue with the Daesun chapters I had. The character I had conceived in Rachel was much to passive for the active and confident captain she was meant to be. For now though I have the rest of the story planned out and cannot wait to finish. We are currently at 292 A4 pages and counting!
