PART TWO
So it works, its just the screen. alarm and vibrations from charging still work. Wtvr.
We plan to take it in to TMobile after therapy. Another alarm sounds again on the way, and we know it wont turn off. Which, again, I noted was odd since I didnt put an alarm for that time on my new phone, but ignored it and assumed I had. We get to TMobile and the say its LSD damage, and to go two blocks down to a repair shop. All seems normal (except for the annoying ringing alarm that everybody can hear.)
We get there, and the guy asks what phone it is. S24, the new phone. He says thats odd, it looks like an A13..the same kind as the old phone. My mum starts going crazy after he double checks, and it is an A13, saying maybe they scammed us and gave us back the old phone, but I say no we got back the old phone AND the new phone. Maybe I left in the rental car, in my jacket, it fell out and they still have it. Or I left it at the stranger's house, or it got mixed up in my mum's car.
I remember how the alarm sounded different, it wasnt a screeching noise, it went on for at least two hours, and now it was going off at an old alarm time, for duolingo or gardening. The flash of the glitched homescreen was ywllow, the old pineapple, not the new grey which i havent changed. No wonder the permit wasnt there, and I notied then the pop socket wasnt either. Well fuck.
As it turns out, the following happened; When I got it my mum's car to drive, I place my new, dead phone on the dashboard. When it slid, it fell into a pocket on the passanger door. My mum went to pick it up, and somehow got the old phone out of the glove compartment, and put it in the space between us. I grabbed it when we left, and didn't notice the change due to my normal exhaustion, it being night, and I had recently changed the old phone's phone case to black (it had been maroon before, but they were out), to black, the same color as the new phone's phone case. And so was the start of chaos.
