@hajarkagalwa damn❤️!! The votes to reads ratio is something that even I keep tracking and comparing. I really believe completing sparks is one of the reasons why people voted on it so quickly. Another reason might be that both the books have distinct genres and perhaps have sections of audiences that don't really overlap. Sparks is a cutesy romance while Marine Drive is more focused on siblings and has themes of angst and betrayal. Although, another mind says it boils down to personal preferences of voting or not voting. The metrics did lift my mood. Sparks has been a high performer for me while Marine Drive has potential to achieve so much more but can't coz I've not completed it yet. Thanks gajar❤️ Kisses x3

@Saypaneer hahhhahaa.. ideally I'd not want anyone on wp guessing my job. But you're close. my prev job was investment banking. rn I'm in a different role. Interesting. When I started off reading on wattpad, I actually read the few books I was recommended without an account. So there was no option to vote. It was only after I made an account that I started voting. Guess even now, some part of the readership does come from unaccounted readers. That portion simply can't be measured since there's no data.

@hajarkagalwa acha. I'm gonna keep guessing if you're okay with telling about your job. Are you an Investment Banker by any chance? i mentioned personal preference coz when i first joined wp, i literally decided to have no footprint on the app. I read 2 books in six months without voting or commenting. obv, I went back later once I realised that's unfair but yeah that was a phase.
