Gah-- 3 weeks too many. 
          
          I promise this project is not abandoned, I'm just a snail of an author :') 
          
          Chapter 39 is now live, and I have officially removed the prologue known as "Before" for not aligning with my vision for this piece. I am excited to come back and edit chapters 1 -3 to reflect this change and provide different/necessary context (as soon as possible). 
          
          I hope now that there is no longer such a zoomed-in lens for the beginning of the novel, as this lines up closer to how I want this to impact readers. 
          
          Enough of that; I could ramble all day. I'm just reporting in to let you know this is my baby. It's not going anywhere; it just won't be the most reliable for weekly updates. I'll do the best I can!

Howdy readers! I am happy to announce that Chapter 34 is out now; I went back and forth about whether to make it too long or split it into two chapters. Since I decided on the latter, Chapter 35, which follows, should be out by the end of the week as well! <3 
          
          We are almost complete with our first mini-arc. I am so stoked, and I hope y'all are having a good time with our cast of friends (and not-so-friends).

Happy to announce my slump might finally be over. Had to really go back and forth with this chapter a lot because of some reframing from my rough draft. Hopefully it was worth the wait!~

          Since Finals are wrapping up for me, I'm excited to dive back into writing and finish this novel!
