Sorry for the delay, turns out 2023 is already taking a nose dive, hopefully we can correct the trajectory soon! 
          
          Next chapter of Ash of Earth is up, and so are the weekly updates!

Ash of Earth will be taking a slight hiatus for the month of December so that I can spend some much needed time with my family! See you in January

My update is late this week. My kids were sick, but look for the latest chapter tonight!

52,600+ words and no one reads anything...
          Anybody else have to constantly remind themselves they're writing their stories for their own benefit and not anyone else's?

The last several chapters came so easily to my mind. Maybe a hiccup or two every now and then, and I was so eager to drop them onto wattpad .... This latest chapter has me *struggling* which feels so opposite of how I thought I SHOULD feel. I enjoy writing war scenes and battles and horrible fights... Why can't I spit this one out?? 
          
          Anyway, this update may take a while. Would you rather the chapter were smaller to get more updates more often with less substance? or large chapters with lots of substance but infrequent updates? Personally, I've always preferred the latter, but nowadays whether it webtoon, wattpad or any artistic social platform, it always seems like "Less is more".
