I did two things tonight. One I published a narritve I did at the end of last school year. I forgot to until today. And I quickly pushed this out after a random idea.

I'm blocked for writing and bored so if anyone has any prompts for me that'd be helpful but I'm going to be doing some one-shots or at least trying.

I'm doing what I told myself I wouldn't do. I've started editing past chapters of Wizarding Royalty. I'm on Chapter 1 and the prologue is like 300 words longer and I took out one of the plot points cause I wasn't using it much.  I'll try not to repost till I'm mostly done so you don't have to wait forever. I'll be putting some of the chapters together as well to make longer chapters. 
          
          Also completely unrelated: I dyed the tips of my hair blue. It looks cool.

*Plops down in a chair* I did it finally. Chapter 30 of Wizarding Royalty has been published. It's almost 5000 words, but I think I accomplished most of what I wanted to in the chapter.

Okay here's my plan for Wizarding Royalty right now. Chapter 30 is going to have the ball placed a little before the thestrals lesson (because I really want to write that) and Harry's dream about the snake biting Mr. Weasley which will probably be Chapter 31. But Chapter 30 will have Hagrid's return.

How did something that was supposed to be about a dance at Hogwarts end up with a whole portion dedicated to the Shrieking Shack? I don't know. It was the vibes guys.

I have the overwhelming urge to go through and edit most of Wizarding Royalty and condense it slightly so it's not thirty chapters already, but I'm going to try not to give into it and finish out the story before doing that. Wish me luck.

I have finally decided to share examples of my philosophical-like writing from my original book that is currently under construction. Here go's nothing: 
          
          Ex. 1: It was hard to explain death to a child who had never truly known what it meant to lose a loved one to something so far out of your control. Ava had always imagined death as a person who embodied a concept. Someone to guide you toward the inevitable. Everyone died at some point or another it was only a matter of how long they lived. To her, he was not a skeletal-like figure with a scythe and a dark robe. She liked to think of him as a human-like being who just made the transition easier, the one slightly familiar presence in the world of the unknown. Perhaps he had ebony black hair or maybe it was blonde. Maybe his eyes were black but warm like the last dying light of embers in a fire a symbol of how death was an end but could be turned into a beginning just like a fire could be sparked from those last few embers before they died. -Life Warrior Chapter 1. 
          
          Ex. 2 (More recent): The darkness was comforting in a way. It was something that could be never-ending or it could be fragile. Something as small as a candle could break it or it could be all-consuming leaving nothing behind except for the shells of the people it touched. It was dangerous and safe at the same time. It was a contradiction of itself; a paradox.  
          
          She had never been scared of the dark; never feared the monsters under the bed like many children. Instead, she found solace in it. A break from the world when it was too much. It was a fact in her life. Darkness was a safe place, it didn’t judge your problems. It took and it took, and it took, but it also provided the depths to which you could confide everything with no one to hear you. It provided a hiding place for both the good and bad with no discrimination.  
          
          The darkness was a blessing and a curse, a danger, and a safe haven. It balanced itself. So, Eva was not scared of the dark.
