Hello *waves awkwardly*

I'm Scarlett Fyre, which is, surprising as it is, not my real name. Yes, yes, a shocker I know, but I really don't want the lovely people of my high school to find my writing- at least not yet. 

Writing. I love books, and have done since I was old enough to understand the stories being read to me by my wonderful parents. Words and the power they carry have always been a big part of my life, but it's only been in the last couple of years that I've started writing properly. 

The story so far:

I have written two novels, which shall stay hidden where they belong. The first was, in one word, terrible. I am proud of the second, but not proud enough to share it with the world. . .

I am writing my third novel, Shadows in the Mirror and it is available to read now. There it is, now go read it.

Kidding. . .

I am a weird person. I surround myself as much as humanly possible with weird people- because they are the best people. As such, I tend to like things that are a little bit nerdy and weird. 

Some of my favourite things are:

- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- Joss Whedon
- Lord of the Rings
- Harry Potter
- Code Name Verity (this is my favourite book, partly because it's wonderful and makes me sob, partly because it inspires me so much)
- Loki
- Welcome to Night Vale
- Noel Fielding's nose

There are many more, but I shall spare you the full list. I think I've waffled on long enough.
