I hate that so many books centered around Black women have a heavy attachment to mental and physical abuse. I understand that it happens in life, but rape and assault shouldn’t always be in the forefront of our stories. 

I was literally up reading a book all yesterday and this morning, it’s just gone. Apparently I didn’t click like on any chapters or add the book and I was so close to the end. I’m so pissed
