I'd first like to thank you for following me. Each new addition to my small and humble group of follower ( over whom I am supreme ruler *my chest swells with my enormous ego*!!! :P) is a welcome indeed.
Secondly, I am no expert in poetry. I am a mere novice. My opinion on your work may not hold any value at all.
Whichever way a person expresses his or her passion and their feelings; it may be a short story or battling an opponent in a boxing ring; I call it poetry.
You'll find that there always will be people out there that will never become content. They will send in reviews stating how awful or bad your work is etc. But you have put an effort into writing your poem. That itself is good enough in my eyes. You tell a story, a story quite sad. It was written well but with a slight tweak, it can become even better.
A piece of advice that I too hope to do, read poetry written by good and renowned poets. It will give you an idea how to improve yourself even further (:
I hope this tiny essay has helped you some what and if not, then at least this can be a source of amusement, seeing that writing an essay has become my signature way of thanking new followers! :D
I think I'll stop writing now...
