This month has been a rough one...since I went to the doctor earlier this month in years because of this exact reason. I spent 5.5 years working towards losing weight, so I would take seriously with chronic pain I have dealt with in February 2018. It was taken seriously at all, and all they care about was my weight by noted not once but 4 different ways and my blood pressure (which will never be low in a doctors office due to too much medical trauma). I was pretty much dismissed pain wise after they did x-rays. While I have the name for the pain but it doesn't help, not having solutions to help. I even complained that it is affecting exercise, and they noted that they talked to me about exercising because I needed to lose more weight.
Luckily, I have a great chiropractor now. He believes that part of the pain is muscular structure issues with posture. This is why I struggled with exercise since October after my race. So, I need lower inflammation in my body because one of my biomarkers came back high. Anti-inflammatory foods here I come.
So, on June 1st, I am tracking everything I can and turning myself into my own case study for a while since no one will take the pain seriously other than our chiropractor, and that is not helping right now as much as usual does.
Not how I want my birthday month to go, but last week, I made up for it with a day full of my favorite things for my actual birthday.
