Scott grew up in Ontario, Canada, with loving parents and siblings that read to him as a child. An avid reader as a teen, the words he devoured fed his growing love of writing.

Scott studied Drama and English Education at Queen's University for two years before transferring into Marketing at Brigham Young University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Scott is a multi-genre, multi-format writer including songs, plays, short stories, and novels. He indie-published a creative non-fiction 'How-to' book on Amazon called "Looking for Luck: Four-Leaf Finding Field Guide," which records the method he's used to teach others how to find four-leaf clovers (random as it is). He recently submitted his first completed novel, a romantic-comedy, to publishers to be reviewed.

He's a member of the Pensive Scribblers writing group and he lives in Springville, Utah with his wife Aubrey, his baby daughter Eden and 5 over-sized goldfish.
