          And by the way - My story 'Wolves of Silver Creek' is about 7th / 8th graders, and it was originally going to be an action / romance / werewolf story. I started it years ago, so it's not so great as compared to my more recent stories, but it's about 7th / 8th graders, and later may have some romance, like you wanted ;) it needs a ton of editing done though, so I'm going to completely revamp it once it's done.
