I've been trying to work on current projects before submitting something new, but I have been holding onto a draft for a while. I finally had some time to clean up the intro. Here it is!

Glow of Neon, the next adventure in the Dark of Night series, has begun!
          The sci-fi atmosphere is a lot more prevalent in this book. I can't wait to introduce "Neon City" A.K.A. Space Vegas.

Hello, old friends!
          
          Long time no see—again!
          
          After a hiatus, I've returned to writing, which has allowed me to reinvent and rediscover myself. I'm currently revising earlier work while also submitting new literary ventures.
          
          I am interested in getting involved with the writing community once again, so I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for some chill books clubs. Also, feel free tag me in writing contests. Who knows, I may even throw my hat into the Ambys ring again this year.
          
          However... I am wondering if anyone has had success with alternative publishing sites. If someone has actually been successful with the Wattys or becoming a Wattpad Creator, I'm interested in hearing about your experiences. What about Amazon Publishing or Inkitt?

@Sera_C_Winters I have appreciated my time in Creator’s because there is a sense of community and support. Plus there were certain perks, like being able to ask editing questions or getting access to more promotion. The program has gone through several iterations and is currently going through another one. It’s actually on hiatus right now, even though the public-facing pages don’t say that. I’ve heard it’s coming back soon, but probably with some tweaks. Wattpad has given me many opportunities to grow as a writer, but I’ve also learned that success comes in many forms. Writing is a journey, and I’m just happy to have any audience at all, you know?

I think that authors supporting each other is what makes Wattpad worth it. Congratulations on 2 Wattys, and I wish you the best of luck on your publishing ventures. I greatly appreciate you giving feedback on my new projects. I will have to check out the Book Exchange. I researched the Creator's program a while back, but I wasn't sure how to get pulled in. How is your experience with the program?

I’m just getting back onto Wattpad, too. It’s always been my “safe space” in a way. I have won 2 Wattys and am part of the Creator’s program, and happy to chat about my experiences. I have one novella on Amazon Prime, but I find that you really have to promote yourself to get traction. For the past year I’ve been querying agents off-and-on, and while I’ve received good feedback and had some interest, not enough to call it a success. At least not yet… Anyway, thank you for checking out one of my stories, and I’d love to check out one of yours, too. I haven’t participated in any book clubs recently, but always enjoyed the Flexible Book Exchange.

          The Year of the Dragon is finally here, friends.
          The world looks ever so bleak these days, but I hope that you shall all find peace in your lives.

@JonLeePeto I am well, though I have had trouble finding time for expanding my fictional worlds. I appreciate you staying in touch and continuing to read. I might be behind on adding chapters, but I plan on continuing LOUD. I am glad that there are quite a few new chapters--I won't be biting my nails waiting for more, at least for now. I do apologize for the delay. Kudos for keeping up the great work.

          There are many books that bring me joy, but there are few that blend coming-of-age themes, mystery, adventure, horror, and romance all into one amazing masterpiece. I encourage those who appreciate an interesting mix of genres to read QUIET by JonLeePeto. 
          
          Not only are there spine-tingling events, but it also takes place in Japan--one of my favorite settings. Makiko is a strong protagonist who is wise beyond her years, and she has something really special hidden within. You should definitely go meet her.
