I have been a writing stories and poetry for over a decade at this point in my life. I am a huge science fiction junkie, with fantasy coming in second place to that. I love stories that have themes of hope and overcoming adversity. That said, I believe that stories need elements of difficulty, and even despair, in order to be interesting.

I am also a big fan of anime and manga. The Isekai and time travel genres are my favorites, although I feel that the propensity for overpowered protagonists in both genres is disappointing. A hero should have to work for his victories, even if they occur 'off-screen' in training. The two genres usually give their protagonists overpowered abilities from the start, and it makes any obstacle they face boring.

I love to write about interpersonal relationships, especially those focusing around friendship rather than romance, though romance has a place in all of my works. Romance is not a light matter, it has to mean something. Other than relationships, I like to focus on world building, with a smattering of action thrown in to keep things spicy. Intrigue is always a bonus, with lots of reveals and feels to maintain pacing.
