A Difficult Announcement — Please Read

          	Hey, sweethearts.

I have something important to share with you, and honestly, this is one of the hardest decisions I've made as a writer.

After thinking about it for a long time, I've decided to rebuild The Missing Person from the very beginning.

This means I will be removing the current versions of The Missing Person (Book 1) and The Missing Person: Genesis Rising (Book 2) from both Wattpad and Inkitt.

          	This wasn't an easy decision.

This story means so much to me. I poured countless hours, ideas, emotions, and pieces of my heart into it. Seeing the chapters, characters, theories, comments, votes, and all the memories disappear is honestly heartbreaking.

I'll especially miss the conversations and comments you left along the way. Some of you noticed details I didn't even realize were noticeable, and knowing that people cared enough to follow Emma's journey genuinely meant everything to me.

But as much as I love what I created, I know I can make it better.

While working on the story, I noticed plot holes, inconsistencies, and parts of the story that I personally wasn't satisfied with anymore. I don't want to keep building on a foundation that I know needs fixing.

So instead of simply patching the problems, I've decided to start again from scratch and give The Missing Person the story it deserves.

And please don't worry — I am NOT leaving Wattpad or Inkitt. ❤️

          	This isn't goodbye.

          	It's a restart.

          	Part 2 coming next.

@Lubzaa Thank you so much! It really means a lot, especially with such a big decision. I’m hoping this new version will be something even better, and I hope you’ll be there when the story begins again. ✨

What Happens Next?

First, I want to say something important:

You don't need to unfollow me. ❤️

If you've been following me because of The Missing Person, I'd genuinely love for you to stay. And if you're a new reader discovering me now, you're more than welcome to follow too.

The story may be changing, but I'm still here.

I also don't want to leave you wondering when the new version will return.

My plan is to take the time I need to rebuild the story properly, and I will announce the exact date when I'm ready to begin publishing the new chapters.

I promise I'm not going to disappear and leave you waiting forever.

The new version will still have the heart of The Missing Person — mystery, investigation, secrets, danger, emotional moments, unexpected twists, and characters you'll hopefully become attached to.

But this time, I want everything to connect.

I want the clues to make sense.

I want the characters' decisions to feel believable.

I want the twists to be surprising without being confusing.

And most importantly, I want to be proud of the story from beginning to end.

So yes... I'm saying goodbye to the version you've read.

But I'm not saying goodbye to The Missing Person.

          I'm giving it another beginning.

Thank you to everyone who supported the original version. Whether you commented, voted, followed, added it to your reading list, silently read, or simply gave my story a chance — thank you.

I'll carry those memories with me into the new version.

And when Emma's story begins again...

          I hope you'll be there.

See you on the other side of the rewrite, sweethearts.
