When it all happened we told them not to get too close. We said it was dark inside, and that was where our demons hid. They just smiled at us and told us to get too close. That there was a hell inside of them that our demons could live in. We trusted them... They betrayed us and when our halos broke we carved the two halves into horns. We became our own demons. Since when did dragons die from the poison of a snake? We shrugged our shoulders. Everyone is a moon and has a dark side which he never shows to anyone. Despite that though we were told the light and the dark may be two different things but we needed them both. If we had too much light we'd burn, but in the darkness we can not see. However, together we have shade. They came back and saw what we had done... What we had become... They asked if we had gone mad and we simply looked at one another with Cheshire like smirks on our lips. We knew we had. We knew we were entirely bonkers.
