Happy (way belated) new years everyone! I'm still on hiatus but just to let y'all know that I have been slowly working on my fics, as well as some new ones yet to come. I'll be graduating this year so I've been focusing on my studies and upcoming exams. If it all goes well, then I plan to start publishing again around June.
Until then, don't forget to drink water and rest well :)
Update: I will not be updating any stories for an indefinite amount of time. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to work on my stories and share it with you all, but as long as blue stays as an unfavorable colour, my support is with red, black, and green.
It feels wrong to be so adamant about working on something that you know others don't have the fortune of doing. Even when they are fortunate enough to write, the opposing force is always trying to cancel their creation. If they can't cancel it, they'll claim to be a beta-reader and revamp everything in the book to suit their own narrative. Sick, in a negative and derogatory way.
I'm not going to be complicit in the false narrative. I'm not going into a hidey-hole just because I feel uncomfortable. Good people are willing to put themselves in uncomfortable, even life-threatening situations for the people they care about. "Nice" people are only beneficial when you're beneficial to them.

Do y'all prefer the original (Malay) names for the elementals (i.e: Halilintar, Gempa, Taufan-Beliung) or their English names (i.e: Thunderstorm, Earthquake/Quake, Cyclone-Tempest)??
