Looking for an old Indian Wattpad story (around 2018)
I'm trying to find an Indian Wattpad novel that I read around 2018, but I can't remember the title or the character names.
The story is about a heroine who has a one-sided crush on the male lead. Her jealous sister manipulates everyone against her and even frames her for attempting to murder her. The entire family, including her brother and the male lead, believes the sister and turns against the heroine.
After this, the heroine leaves home. Years later, she returns as a much stronger and happier person with a new group of friends who become like her family. She doesn't change her identity or name. One of her close male friends treats her like a sister, and her real brother becomes jealous because someone else has taken his place in her life.
I clearly remember a scene where the heroine is talking happily with her new family/friends, while her biological family secretly overhears the conversation. They realize how much happier she is without them and feel jealous and guilty.
Later, the sister becomes terminally ill and asks the family to bring the heroine back. Before dying, she confesses that she lied about everything, including the fake murder attempt. The family and the male lead realize they misunderstood the heroine and desperately seek her forgiveness.
