People really don't get what intrusive thoughts are, it's not "oh my god I'm gonna dye my hair right now!" It's literally things like thinking of murdering everyone in your family, thinking about sexual interactions with relatives, and so much worse. You're not a bad person if those kinds of thoughts cross your mind, you're only bad if you act on them knowingly
