My father's name is Lasana Massaquoi, he pretends to be the best father in the world, but in reality, he's an abusive, controlling jerk and treats other people's kids better than his own blood. 
          You may be asking why was I living with him, despite how he us. Well the reason is because my mom is in a rough spot herself and is taking care of my other siblings, and my dad was my only option, other relatives lived too far away and I didn't have money like that to rent a small apartment.

          Hi, my name is Serena and I'm fundraising enough money to re-adopt my cats that I own from a shelter. 
          
          The reason is that my father threw me out the apartment I was sharing with for over a year because I stood up to him. He has threatened to throw my cats off the balcony, drown the kittens, or abandoned them on the streets. 
          
          My cat's name is Shuna and she has 5 kittens. I have been trying to register her as emotional support cat and I had found homes for her kittens. But my dad shoved them into a tiny dog crate and left them at the back of paws and claws. I told them that was in a listing for getting a place, but they refused to give me back my cats. 
          
          They said the only way to get them back, is to adopt them back and for one cat is $195 dollars each. These cats have been by my side for almost a year and have helped through my father's threats and mental abuse. 
          
          He would lock me up in the apartment with no way of leaving without staying locked out. I couldn't even go out buy food with the money my mom sent me or go to appointments that I have made to check my mental health and he continued to shame and threaten me and my cats. 
          
          I have been unemployed for a while now and have been constantly applying for jobs to take care of my cats and I, while also saving up and start a business to earn a little extra money to stable us. I've been rejected or the position was already filled.
