i honestly do not like 'x reader' type shit,, with y/n and everything. There's something about it that makes me uncomfortable every time i see it pop up in my Tumblr searches.
I mean, if you like that kind of stuff, you do you. It's honestly not my cup of tea and I don't really understand it. ESPECIALLY when it's an underage character and there's smut or I know people a lot older would be reading that kind of stuff and just,, ugh...
That could just be me and my asexual-ness or my dedication to certain ships,, but I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way,,
@TemmieCody Right? Same with movies and shows. I feel like it might just be easier for the creator to create a romantic plot (since they can be very basic and very easy to come up with) but a lot of the time, movies, shows, and books can do a lot better without them.
I just find romance-centered books gross in general. I’m sure it can be done right, but I’ve never seen it, in the x reader form or not. Nothing wrong with having romance in a book, just having it be the center of thinhs is hardly how life works.
