So... I finally updated the story that I abandoned for two years. I basically had a 90% finished draft sitting around and kept going, "This needs to be finished and then get a rewrite," but I was so burnt out from other work that I kept looking at it and going "I can't do that right now." So it never got done.
          
          Now I'm publishing it. It's barely finished. I did not edit it, but I'll take what I've got. I think it's better to get my story out there and then when I'm up to it, do a better rewrite. 
          
          I've updated almost up until the beginning of Part III. There are IV parts total, but the story is under half updated because Parts III and IV are longer than Parts I and II. Each part has a lot of chapters.
          
          Anyway, hope someone can enjoy my story as I attempt to get all of it out there soon!

Hello! I am sorry for the lack of updates recently -- I was traveling and had no computers and internet for a while (weeks). I will release more chapters of The Mask again soon, but this is the reason for the delay.
          I am also very unused to updating while I edit (I usually finish all the editing and then publish), so I will probably avoid using this method in the future. (I've started it for this one already, so I might as well carry on.) That's why I am only able to update once every few weeks when I'm not traveling.
          I promise this story will be good in the end though, even if the updating takes a while. Thank you for your patience!

I’ve added a map to The Mask! It is not 100% to scale — some of the forests are slightly larger or smaller than depicted, and of course, the buildings, objects, and trees, etc., are not in actual size. But it might help to place where the characters are in different parts of the story.

I've begun to publish The Mask this month! I will most likely update slowly, once per one or two weeks. Despite the infrequency of their uploading, most of the chapters are on the longer side (with the exception of the prologue titled under the part header). Hey! I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been busy with various projects, but I wanted to mention that I will be writing the sequel to The Cliffs of Immeni for NaNo this year, so hopefully will be done with that by the end of 2022.  I did get caught up with some short stories and another book ever-so-slightly inspired by Shadow Weaver in the middle, but I’ve vowed to stop procrastinating this month.
