I haven't been active on Wattpad for a very long time, however I do have exciting news for everyone who liked my work when I was active. I'm officially a published author. I self published a fantasy thriller novel called "A Moon Named Niko" that's about a teenager trying to get out of a really horrible home situation, and pretty much everything goes wrong. It does have a happy ending though, and it deals a lot with trauma and trying to recover and the guilt and also how relationships change when people are stuck in a toxic environment. Also the character arcs aren't completely linear because the process of dealing with trauma isn't a straight line. It takes place in a dystopian world with a little bit of realm traveling, it has both first and third person point of views, and also short chapters. Right now it's for sale on Amazon Kindle for 99 cents, and I do plan on getting the ebook onto other sights. I also plan on making paperback and hardcover versions, so the paperback version is in the works right now.
My second piece of news is that my next project is the third draft of Captured Wings. Which I find it super fun that some stories (like A Moon Named Niko) can be made in one draft and then just a tone of editing and adding scenes in and rewriting other scenes, but it all came from the same draft. And then other stories like Captured Wings it's hard to tell the story right the first time or even the second time but eventually you get it. It's so fun to see how the writing process changes for every story. Anyway, I'm planning on publishing Captured Wings, so I'm super excited to start this next version of it. The world and the characters have changed a lot over the course of three years worth of notes and ideas.
