The sky turned gray and a barely audible rumble was released. Wind whipped around people and buildings, the air smelled fresh with the incoming rain. At first, there was a slight pitter-patter as drops fell lightly on rooftops and concrete, but then the rain was slammed out of the sky and smacked every available surface.
