It is way too late and all I can think about is an absolutely tragic story idea my one braincell came up with like two hours ago. I really need to sleep but my entire brain has been consumed by this idea. Here's a part if y'all are interested (cw unsympathetic virgil and spoilers for the new episode)

Virgil smiled a little cruelly as he looked Janus in the eyes and replied, “Everyone obviously. What, you didn’t think anyone could actually be your friend did you?”
Janus could practically hear his heart crumbling into thousands of irreparable pieces.
