Dear Readers,
I would like to formally apologize to everyone waiting for the next chapter. 😭
Unfortunately, my biggest enemy has returned:
EXAMS.
Yes. The same exams that apparently believe I have nothing better to do than memorize entire textbooks instead of writing about kingdoms, mysteries, suspicious princes, and people making terrible decisions.
I would LOVE to be writing right now.
Kasvyn probably has 17 more problems waiting for her.
Orpheus is probably standing somewhere looking mysterious.
Melantha is probably threatening someone.
Lorian is probably pretending he doesn't care.
And I am here like:
“What is the chemical formula of—”
💀
So, unfortunately, updates might be a little slow while I survive this academic tragedy.
The story isn't abandoned. I haven't forgotten Zehrat. I haven't forgotten you. And I certainly haven't forgotten the chaos I created for my characters.
I'll be back to torturing them—and entertaining you—as soon as these exams release me from captivity.
Until then...
Pray for my grades. Pray for my sanity. And most importantly, pray that I don't accidentally start writing Chapter 20 during an exam. 😭📚
