Girll do you even realise what you're talking? If someone understands the value of burqha they will definitely wear it. But some parents forces burqa to their child. Burqa is not a oppression. Just because Iram does this doesn't mean, it's wrong. Everyone have different religion belief. I can't tell sikh to not to wear their turban because it's oppression to them. It's between god and the believer. And you can't tell hijabi to wear short skirts. I am not here for controversy, hope this helps. And I absolutely know you will pick a fight with me in the things I mentioned.

@_ashesofPoetry_ I would say , no religion is perfect. All religions are inherently patriarchal and impose restrictions on women. Let's agree to disagree. I respect people for all their diversity and culture and people are free to practice and propagate their beliefs. I am not disrespecting your belief but do not try and make me understand that 'all religions are perfect ' when everyone with a functional brain and logic intact can see that religion only thrives in third world countries while countries with larger proportions of atheists as citizens are more prosperous , happy with their scientific temperament. Religion is a personal choice and individual liberty grants religious autonomy. But that doesn't mean that all religions are perfect. For me, humanity is better than any religion.
            Thank you.

@_ashesofPoetry_ I am not trying to pick a fight with you, especially not on religious issue. I am secular. I am not trying to tell a hijabi to drop the garment and wear a short shirt. I am all for the girls to decide if they want to wear whatever they wear or not. It must be their choice and not just because a thousand year old religious scripture and men dictate their clothing.

Sister as you asked me, doesn't islam prohibit cuss word? It does. That's what I am saying, every religion is perfect but not the believers.
