@ShaliniBoland And in terms of getting more reads. Try to release a chapter a week - same time every week, so people know when to expect the next installment :)
@a_million_universes Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been on here for a while. Thanks so much for your comments - really happy you're enjoying it. I guess you just have to keep on writing and also reading. Read really well written books and soak it all up - all the sentence structures, the turns of phrases, the way the authors build their characters. Maybe invest in a couple of craft books, too. But mainly . . . just keep writing! Most authors are never satisfied with their work, always striving to hone it and make it gleam. Just gotta keep on keepin on ;)

Have you read The Giver?
It is a published book by Lois Lowry, and it is a dystopian novel. It is a great book, and can greatly help your writing.
