Alright, listen up.
          	
          	This post is not intended to shit on the Zalex ship or Alex and Zach individually. It's just a personal perspective as a new (2 months) fan, coming into the Inquisitormaster fandom. 
          	
          	I've seen the post Alex shared on her IG about her break-up from Zach (via screenshot). I've also seen some fans blaming and "unsubscribing" Alex/Zach individually. I've heard of death-threats been given. 
          	
          	Why? 
          	
          	As fans, we actually only know the tip of the iceberg. Only those involved know what lies beneath the surface. 
          	
          	According to Alex's post, she felt the relationship was "toxic" and she was being abused. If that's the case, I applaud her for getting out of it. Not everyone is so lucky to get out. I know myself how damaging it can be to ones own mental health. 
          	
          	I've only heard Alex's side. If he did abuse her, (there's a 50/50 chance he did/didn't) then yes, he's a jerk and Alex deserves better. I still can't hate on Zach given the limitation on facts and continuous rumours. 
          	
          	Just because the two of them are YouTube celebrities, it doesn't mean they have to maintain the "perfect" relationship just to keep their fans happy. Relationships don't always turn out the way we want them to. People aren't perfect. Some lie, some cheat. What I'm getting at is that Zach and Alex are both human, and all humans have their flaws (some worse than others) 
          	
          	Now a note to the shippers. Whether you still ship Zalex or not is entirely your decision. Personally, I don't, but it doesn't mean the ship isn't still valid. The same applies to all Squad ships. 
          	
          	Various members have said in videos that they don't care who you ship. Recent videos have even seen them reading fanfiction and reacting to fan art/Gacha movies. If they didn't enjoy reacting to them, they wouldn't be making the videos for us to see. It's as simple as that. 
          	
          	To all you creators out there... keep up the great work. Like the Squad, I love seeing all your art and reading your fics.
