I ACCIDENTALLY STARTED WRITING ANOTHER BOOK! Oopsie!
While I’m still editing My Only Sunshine like a madwoman in preparation for self publishing on Amazon, I took a few days and stepped away from it to take a breather...and subsequently started writing another novel. ♀️
What can I say? The idea came to me and I had no choice but to park my butt in front of the computer and try to hammer out my thoughts.
Three days later (or evenings, I should say, since I also have a day job and do my writing at night!), along with an abundance of coffee, a lack of sleep and a husband who says he misses me (sorry, sweetie!), I suddenly have over 7,000 words, a prologue and 3 fairly polished chapters. WHAT?! That kind of progress took me 12 years to accomplish for My Only Sunshine! It turns out writing pure fiction is a lot easier than writing a story remotely based on true events. And, much less emotional of a process for me - yay!
Alright, so, that said I’m curious to get some (very early) eyes on this little project! ARE THERE ANY PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER FANS FOLLOWING?
As with all stories I write, I also feel the need to warn my family and friends (my biggest fans! ) of the dirty minded stuff that often comes out on the page when I write. This story is quite sexual, in fact the main character is a sex addict. She’s also being accused of murder, so there’s that. ♀️
I haven’t fully decided if this will be another Wattpad original or if I’ll take the story to completion and wait to share it until it’s ready to be published. But, I happen to think it’s a page turner and for that reason, I’d love to get some eyes on the prologue (possibly even some early chapters, depending on initial reactions) to gage reader interests. So, for now at least, the prologue is available on Wattpad! I hope you’ll give it a read and please let me know if I’ve managed to grab your attention!
