Even though I have spent seven years working for the security company they decided that December was a great month to send me a notice of termination that I didn't even receive until Christmas Eve. Great present right?

@ShannaWilliamson One thing I learned after leaving Adult Protective Services is that you're just a number. It doesn't matter how much of your time and energy you gave them, they'll find someone to replace you. I can't imagine how it felt to be blindsided like that. I hope things looked up for you. ❤
