I grew up in California, which is why a huge chunk of my books take place there... except... you know... the dystopian ones. I've been writing since I could wield a pencil and write the word "seid", which is definitely how I used to spell "said". I've improved ever so slightly over the years and now I live in Utah and write a ridiculous amount of YA and NA fiction across all genres... even some that I sort of make up. There's a reason my critique group calls me The Genre Bender. They should probably just call me The Professionally Irresponsible Writer Who Will Make Her Publisher Crazy With Her Mixed Genres. But the first one rolls off the tongue better.
